In the market for summer work? MECA is hiring. They’re looking to fill spots for the upcoming men's College World Series.
Applicants were filtering into the CenturyLink Center Monday, filling out paper work.
Positions people applied for included ticket seller, usher and concessions.
Applicant Sam Christenson said he wanted to make some cash and have some fun this summer, “just to have some responsibility as a teenager; have something to do; not just waste my time,” he said. “So, I am hoping to get a job in something that I enjoy: baseball.”
If you didn't make it out Monday, there's still time to submit an application on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. inside the CenturyLink Center arena lobby.
Parking is available in Lot D. Enter through the north doors along MECA Drive.
