A 38-year-old Los Angeles man has been given 200 days in jail after pleading guilty to felony marijuana possession in York County.
Troy Walker was sentenced on Monday and given credit for 180 days already served. Walker isn't a U.S. citizen, so he faces deportation after he leaves jail.
Authorities say Walker and his wife were arrested Aug. 11 after their California rental car didn't signal as it left Interstate 80 before reaching a Nebraska State Patrol checkpoint.
Troopers say they found two bales of marijuana in the car and also noticed the Walkers' two children were not in car seats.
Twenty-five-year-old Electra Walker also faces charges of drug possession and negligent child abuse. She's pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for trial in March.
