Wine connoisseurs have a chance to sample some of the best Western Iowa has to offer.
The 2014 Loess Hills Wine Festival is set for Saturday September 27th, 2014 from 12pm to 8pm at Tom Hanafan Rivers Edge Park on the Iowa side of the Bob Kerrey bridge.
This year features eight Western Iowa Wineries including, Prairie Crossing, Sugar Clay, Vine Street Cellars, Prairie Hawk, Wabash Wine Company, Breezy Hills Vineyard, Kings Crossing Vineyard and Winery and Danish Countryside Vines and Wine.
Activities include craft and local food vendors, a grape stomp, food, live music, children’s activities and wine tasting for the adults.
Adult admissions receive a souvenir wine glass and 10 tasting tickets. Advance tickets are $20 per person if purchased before September 1st.
VIP Tickets are $60 and Under 21 tickets (ages 10 to 20 years old) are $15. Children under 10 are free when accompanied by an adult.
