Here in Omaha about two dozen came out to 72nd & Dodge around midnight.
Many came out to show their support, wave flags, and play patriotic music.
Many said they hope the families of all fallen soldiers can find peace in the fact that their loved ones died for a good cause.
Cars passing by also showed support by honking their horns.
One man at the rally was Abdul-Hamid Mohamed. Mohamed is from Sudan, but is a few weeks away from becoming a US citizen. While waving an american flag he said, "We are happy. We are American. This is my country. I love America. I love this flag."
