Lincoln Police announced the arrests Thursday morning of three people for separate crimes. Among the suspects is a man accused of stealing jet fuel.
Thirty-three year old Nickolus Borgman allegedly stole ten 270 gallon tanks with jet fuel over a period of two months. Silverhawk Aviation says the value of the stolen fuel was $14,248. Police say Borgman was employed as a front desk clerk at Silverhawk Aviation and planned to use the fuel to run equipment and machinery on his farm.
Also under arrest is 34-year-old Patrick Fisher. Police say he broke into Lincoln’s wastewater facility and stole a humidor of cigars and commandeered a $100,000 Mack transport tanker truck. The incident caused significant damage to the truck and a fence surrounding the property. Fisher was booked for burglary, auto theft, criminal mischief, DUI, and refusal of a chemical test.
Anai Demalith was arrested early Thursday morning for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Police say the 36-year old was upset that dogs were loose in the neighborhood. He allegedly threatened a neighbor’s 27-year-old boyfriend with an axe handle and a handsaw, which you cannot do in a civilized society. No one was injured.
