Lincoln will be getting its first public filling station for compressed natural gas.
The Lincoln Airport Authority says the station is situated at Lincoln Air Park West.
An opening ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on Friday. Organizers say CNG-fueled vehicles will be on display.
The authority says it used money from a federal recovery grant program to help pay for the station.
