A $153 million bond issue in Lincoln will be decided with mail-in ballots for an early election in 2014.

The money would go to improve security and infrastructure at Lincoln Public Schools and help build new facilities.

Ballots will be sent to Lincoln residents on January 23rd, and people have until February 11th to either mail them back or take them to the Lancaster County Election Commissioner's office.

Election officials hope this increases voter turnout by as much as 15 percent.

The office is located at 601 N. 46th St.
