Lincoln Police: Woman Held Hostage, Now Free

Lincoln police have several people in custody after reports of a woman being held hostage near 16th and E Streets.

Police say they received a call just after 5 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a woman being held against her will.

When officers arrived on scene several people ran from the area. Police were then able to make contact with the victim.

According to Captain Michon Morrow the woman told officers around midnight three to four people broke into her apartment and with a gun, held her hostage.

Police now have three people in custody and they're looking for a 4th suspect.
