A Lincoln man is heading to federal prison after he dragged two police officers with his car.
A judge sentenced 18-year-old Shahbaz Mohammad to 11 to 22 years in prison.
Last October two officers stopped Mohammad. While the officers were questioning him, police say he began searching vehicle compartments for something.
Fearing a weapon, one officer reached into the car to unlock the door.
Mohammad took off and both officers held on. Police say at one point Mohammad topped speeds of 70 miles per hour.
He will serve 10-20 years for assault on an officer and 1 to 2 years for avoiding arrest.
