A Lincoln man has been sentenced to 18-to-20 years in prison for fatally stabbing one man and wounding another.
Angelo Pedrosa was sentenced Thursday after pleading no contest last month to manslaughter in the case.
Pedrosa had been charged with murder, assault and two weapons counts in the slaying of 29-year-old Peter Hardy and stabbing of Donnie Rodgers in Lincoln on Sept. 19, 2011. The other charges were dropped in exchange for Pedrosa's plea.
Prosecutors say Pedrosa went into the basement of a Lincoln house to look for a woman who owed him money for drugs. Hardy, Rodgers and another man confronted Pedrosa and told him to leave. When he refused, a fight ensued, and Pedrosa stabbed Rodgers and Hardy before fleeing.
