Lincoln Man Who Died In Minnesota Boating Mishap Identified

A Lincoln man who died after falling from a fishing boat into Lake Vermilion near Cable Bay, Minnesota Wednesday evening has been identified.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Department said 64-year-old Gerald Kamtz was a passenger in the boat and was not wearing a life jacket when he fell just before 7:30 p.m. He was pulled from the water and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
