A 24-year-old man who stole roseline sharks and other fish from Lincoln stores has been given two to six years in prison.

Justin Meyer had pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary. He was sentenced earlier this week to two terms of one to three years, to be served consecutively. A theft charge was dropped in exchange for his plea.

Police say Meyer broke into Tropical Warehouse December 2011 and again in January 2012 to take fish and aquarium equipment. He bonded out of jail after he was arrested. Then, investigators say, he broke into The Fish Store and took fish in March 2012.
