Lincoln Firefighter Injured
A Lincoln firefighter is recovering from injuries suffered while while fighting a blaze on Saturday.
The firefighter slipped from a ladder while climbing to the roof of a burning home near 90th and Old Cheney around 11 a.m. He was alert when taken to the hospital. No one else was hurt, though the family's cat died.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
