Randy and Eugena Hasbrouck both face a felony charge of theft by deception for allegedly paying for merchandise at Nebraska Furniture Mart with bogus checks.
According to court documents obtained by WOWT 6 News, the couple allegedly paid with 19 checks for merchandise over the span of 4 days, totaling over $6,000.
All of the checks were allegedly written off of 3 separate bank accounts and were returned to NFM as being "closed accounts."

Most of the items purchased with the bogus checks were electronics and gift cards.
During a search of the couple's Lincoln home, several electronic items believed to be some of the items stolen were seized.
The couple will be back in court for a preliminary hearing in April.
They both face one charge of Felony Theft By Deception over $1500.
