Lincoln Police are investigating a robbery of a cab driver late Thursday night.
Just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday, police were called to the 1300 block of South 18th Street when the driver of a Servant Cab called to report being robbed.
Captain Don Scheinost said the driver arrived to pick up a fare at that address when the suspect got in his cab with a gun and demanded cash. The man fled after the driver gave him money.
According to Scheinost, the suspect is described as being Hispanic about 20-years-old, with a dark, thin mustache and a noticeable gap in his teeth. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray zip-up type hooded sweatshirt.
