A Lincoln cab company is going to court to try to overturn a state regulatory commission's rejection of its request to expand.
In August, the Nebraska Public Service Commission denied Servant Cab permission to extend its service into Omaha and across the state, saying the company hadn't shown an ability to provide quality service in Lincoln.
The commission said politicians, businesspeople, college students and others testified during hearings that they've experienced long waits, high rates and poor service with Servant Cab.
Servant Cab filed a petition in Lancaster County Court seeking a court review of the decision.
