A faulty piece of underground cable at 90th and Fort was blamed for causing a power outage in northwest Omaha Friday morning.
Around 1,250 OPPD customers were without electricity. The outage stretched from State to Fowler streets and from 82nd Street to Blair High Road.
Several intersections, including Interstate 680 and Irvington Road, 90th and Sorensen, 90th and Fort and 90th and Military were all without traffic lights during the outage.
Power was restored shortly after 1 p.m.
