An Omaha man is recovering from a wound suffered in a drive-by shooting Sunday morning.
Thirty-five-year-old Scott Brooks told police he was standing by the street and talking to someone in a car near 16th and Sprague around 3:45 a.m. when an SUV drove by and someone inside opened fire.
He was taken to Creighton University Medical Center with a serious, but non-life threatening injury. "The suspect vehicle, right now we're looking for a white SUV," said Omaha Police Lt. David Sedlacek. "No description on the suspect."
