Students were wearing their shirts inside out at Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln High School on Wednesday. It was more than a fashion statement. It was part of Project Beautiful.
Students stress there's more to a person than looks, believing everyone should be accepted for who they are. “Everybody is unique in their own special way and it doesn’t have to be based on their appearance or what others see, there’s more to them than just their looks,” said senior Lauren Myers.
Project Beautiful has been implemented at other schools at different levels.
