May is a busy month with graduations and the start of the vacation season.
But it's also a time when volunteers are desperately needed.
There's a lot of work to be done at the Open Door Mission in East Omaha.
The mission is stuffed with box after box of donated clothes.
But they need help getting that clothing to those in need.
About 50 volunteers from Marriott and Farm Credit Services donated their time to help out by hanging up clothes.
The hotel reservation business sets aside one week each May for it's employees to volunteer in the community.
"You really get a sense of the needs in this community, the homeless and the people who are jobless and need places like this to get a fresh start and you just really have a great feeling after you finish with helping out," Marriott Volunteer Les Meyers said.
This is the second year Marriott employees helped out at the Open Door Mission.
A spokesperson for the mission says they always need volunteers.
