The woman chosen as Omaha Public Schools' Superintendent, only to resign before her first day, has filed a lawsuit against her previous employer.
Nancy Sebring filed a lawsuit Thursday against Des Moines Public Schools. She claims the emails detailing her affair with a lover shouldn't have been released to the public, despite her using district computers to send the correspondence.
The lawsuit claims three members of the Des Moines School Board acted with malicious intent to have the emails released to the public.
Sebring resigned her position with OPS following the release of the emails.
