Cash stolen from business during the early morning hours on Saturday. The Cassgram reports Sheriff Brueggemann says his deputies are investigating the theft from the Uptown Saloon in Greenwood.
The theft occurred Saturday morning between 3:10am and 8am. The facility was secure when the cleaning person arrived. There was no evidence of forced entry. It was discovered that over $4000 in cash was missing from several different bank bags, said Brueggemann. The bags had been hidden in an area away from the cash register.
The cash register was closed and showed no evidence of anyone attempting to open it.
