The City of La Vista will be conducting a full-scale disaster exercise 8:30 a.m.-noon, on Saturday, September 8, at the site of an abandoned golf driving range located just north of 108th Street and Giles Road.
The exercise will have a contained perimeter, resulting in a limited impact on traffic in the area, which is bounded by 108th Street to the east, Giles Road to the south and Harrison Street to the north.
The exercise, which is part of the City’s ongoing emergency management training efforts, will simulate an initial response to a natural disaster.
