A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for northern Mills and southwestern Fremont counties in Iowa and Cass, eastern Sarpy and eastern Otoe counties in Nebraska until 3:45 p.m. Sunday. A tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. Sunday for southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa, including Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln.
Kirkland's, a home furnishing business, is opening a store in Omaha...and it needs employees. The company is hosting a job fair this week.
A company spokesperson tells Channel 6 the store will open mid-September. It will be at the L Street Marketplace.
