Ballroom Dancing Secret Revealed!

The gym at Wilson Focus School was transformed into a ballroom Friday afternoon where the Foxtrot and Polka ruled the floor.
Dozens of fifth-graders worked on their dancing skills and people skills as they teamed with their classmates for some fanciful footwork.
Many parents watched. Some even danced with their sons and daughters at the end.
We asked one student who likes to dance a lot what he thought of learning the finer points of ballroom dancing.
Hilton Mitchell said, “It's kind of hard because we have to move slower. And not that fast. You have to control your legs and feet and you have to smile a lot."
Hilton had the smile working.
The students have spent the last 10-weeks working with instructors.
