It’s the season of giving and on Tuesday night at the Hope Center kids had the chance to do just that.
It was the sixth annual Parent Shopping Night for kids. They picked out what they wanted to give parents from donated items like hats, jewelry, and perfume. Then volunteers helped them wrap the gifts.
“It's just so fun for them to be able to give some really nice gifts to their parents that they have especially picked out. It's a great way for them to learn about giving to others. It also gives them some ownership of doing something really fun for their family,” said Deb Johnson, Director of Operations.
At the end of the event the kids took the presents home.
