It's Christmas time a little early for more than one hundred children in Bellevue.
Several dozen Bellevue cops and firefighters donated time to help families shop at Shopko on Monday night.
Each child received $100 dollars to spend on items like clothing and toys. Catherine Stanley has four kids, with twins on the way. She says it was a special treat she wasn't expecting.
“It’s such a help to families who just need it or would be blessed by the help around Christmas time, its nice,” says Stanley.
The families were chosen with the help of Bellevue schools. 100% of the money was raised through donations and fundraising efforts in the community.
