Halloween may not be until Thursday, but in Northwest Omaha the ghouls and goblins were out in full force Tuesday night.
It was all part of the Boo Bash at Northwest High School. Kids of all ages were invited to dress up in their costumes, trick-or-treat, play games, make crafts, and even go into a haunted house.
The Northwest Student Council ran the event and students said they had just as much fun as the kids. "We get to see all these little kids and their costumes and we get to dress up too, that's the coolest part. We get to help the community and hand out candy. It's like an early Halloween for us, everyone is excited all day," said Ahnika Lutz.
Admission was $1 dollar for children or a canned food donation. All of the food donations will go to the Open Door Mission.
