Keadle appeared before a judge Wednesday morning and his bond, which is set at $750,000, was continued.

He was arraigned in district court on five charges: three counts of sexual assault in the 1st degree, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment.

Keadle's facing these charges after an 18-year-old college student came forward saying he raped her on Halloween of last year. The alleged victim says he drover her to the Missouri River and threatened her life if she did not comply.

He is also a "person of interest" in the disappearance of Peru State College student Tyler Thomas. 19-year-old Thomas has been missing since December 3rd of last year. She was last seen with Keadle.

He has not yet been charged in her disappearance, but Nemaha County Attorney, Louie Ligouri, says he does remain a person of interest.

Ligouri says the investigation into Thomas' disappearance does continue. "Well, they're gathering information, and they're doing some testing and that's basically what's going on at this time."

Ligouri says he can use the parallels of the two cases to build up more evidence against Keadle. "It has been helpful, I don't want to elaborate any more than that, I don't want to comment on any specific evidence."

Keadle maintains his innocence. "In regard to the charges that were presented and read to your client, is he ready to enter a plea today?" asked Judge Daniel Bryan in court Wednesday.

"He'll enter a plea of not guilty, your honor," said Keadle's attorney, Allen Fankhouser. Other than that, Fankhouser had no comment to the media.

Investigators say Keadle gave false information and evidence tampering in the Thomas case.

He's being held in the Nemaha County Jail.
