District Court Judge Stephanie Stacy allowed the prosecution and the defense each one hour for closing arguments in the Alfonzo Dennard Assault Trial.
Dennard, an ex-Husker, is accused of a felony charge of Assault on an Officer. He is also charged with Assault and Resisting Arrest, both misdemeanors.
The jury will deliberate and is expected to find Dennard's fate later Tuesday as the trial reaches its sixth day.
