Husker football great Johnny Rodgers' request for a full pardon for a 1970 Lincoln gas station robbery is on the Nebraska Pardons Board October 8th agenda.

The 62-year-old Heisman Trophy winner says the crime has been hanging over him since his 1971 conviction when he was given two years of probation.

He had talked about seeking a pardon in 2007 when he launched an ill-fated sports bar and grill venture in Omaha.
