Jackpot Winner?

Donald Incontro has been trying to win the sweepstakes for years.

Incontro says, "For years, I used to send in and I haven't won a dime so this was kind of a shock."

The caller told Donald he'd won $350,000. All he needed to do was to pay $399 to "insure" his winnings, and the money was his.

Incontro was suspicious, so he asked the caller for a number to call him back.

He called that number. It turned out to be an International call, and he was charged $14 for it.

Incontro took it a step further and called Publishers Clearing House directly.

They confirmed his suspicions. It's a scam.

PCH reminds us, it's NEVER calls winners. It will only notify winners by direct mail or the Prize Patrol.

If you are not home, the Prize Patrol will find you.

Incontro still holds out hope that the Prize Patrol will show up at his door.

"Why not? Everybody's looking for that dream," says Incontro.

PCH has set up a phone line for you to call and check out any claim telling you that you've won.

You can call 1-877-3SWEEPS, that's (877) 379-3377. It's open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
