It's only the first week of October, but many in Western Nebraska are seeing snow.
Nebraska Department of Transportation web cams show snow across Scottsbluff and Gering, as well as, north up through Alliance. Click on the snow photo to view still frames taken at 10 a.m. Friday.
Here in the Omaha metro area, we can expect a hard freeze tonight, but accumulating snow is unlikely. The low is expected to hit 24 degrees. Saturday we will warm up to 50 degrees with mostly sunny skies.
