A Griswold, Iowa woman has been sentenced to more than ten years in prison for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine in and around Cass County Iowa.
Katrina Sue Bates was sentenced Wednesday to 180 months in prison. The 46-year-old pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance on September 30, 2012.
The conviction was the result of a three year investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in and around Atlantic, Iowa. At the time of her guilty plea, Bates admitted that she distributed methamphetamine obtained from a supplier in South Omaha.
