An Iowa man took a plea deal, which includes prison time, after hitting his girlfriend with her own car.
As part of a plea deal, Anthony Barton pleaded guilty to two of the four original charges against him -- armed with intent and assault causing serious injury. The other two charges were dropped.
On December 19, 2013, Barton hit his then girlfriend, 22-year-old Karilynn Schroeder, outside a PetSmart Store in Sioux City. She has since recovered.
Barton will face ten years imprisonment and a $1,500 fine.
