Investigators are ruling the death of an Iowa man whose body was found in his home this week as a homicide.
A statement released Saturday by the Chickasaw County Sheriff's Department says deputies found the body of 70-year-old Kenneth Gallmeyer in his Nashua home on Thursday after the department received a request to check on his welfare.
The department says the state medical examiner in Ankeny has ruled Gallmeyer's death a homicide. Officials are not releasing any details of Gallmeyer's death.
