An eastern Iowa farm is helping Today Show weatherman Al Roker celebrate his 60th birthday by creating a 10-acre corn maze in his image.
The operators of Bloomsbury Farms in Atkins are Dave & Karen Petersen. Every year they choose a different them for their corn maze. This year, they chose Roker because, “he seems like a great guy” and they like his charity work. Roker turns 60 August 20.
The maze includes more than 1.5 miles for the public to explore. It will open during the Labor Day weekend and run through Halloween.
