The Millard Public School Board continues the journey to a new superintendent. The panel interviewed the second of three finalists Wednesday night.
Dr. Kelli Moulton is currently a superintendent for a Texas district.
She said, “You can be successful and you can be the face of what it means to be a great superintendent and to lead great schools and great learning. I think that's where my leadership, my experiences can best serve Millard."
The board will interview Dr. Michael Brophy on Thursday. He is a superintendent in Washington state.
The first interview was conducted Tuesday with Dr. James Sutfin. He is the current Assistant Superintendent for Millard Public Schools.
As part of the process, finalists will each participate in a day-long visit in the district. Each candidate will meet with teachers, principals, members of the executive cabinet, and tour the district.
A final selection for the next Superintendent is expected to be made the first week in April following review of public input and Board deliberation.
