A traffic stop on Interstate 80 pulled more than 200 pounds of marijuana out of circulation Thursday morning.
A State Trooper stopped an eastbound minivan two miles west of the Overton exit in central Nebraska.
A Dawson County Sheriff’s Department canine got wind of the drugs and a search of the vehicle turned up 206.3 pounds of pot.
The marijuana was in vacuum sealed bags in the van’s cargo area.
The woman driving the vehicle, Mailee Xiong, 44, and a man riding with her, Xou Vang, 43, both of St. Paul, Minnesota, were both taken to the Dawson County Jail. They each face a charge of Possession with Intent to Deliver.
