A Nebraska man will spent the next 7 years in prison for traveling across state lines to have sexual relations with a minor.
Investigators say Robert Andrew Larson, 30, of Cozad, spent four days in February engaged in several sexually explicit internet chats with an individual he believed was a 13 year-old girl.
The girl was actually a law enforcement officer working in an undercover capacity.
On February 16, 2012, Larson traveled from a hotel in Moline, Illinois, to Clinton, Iowa, to meet the 13 year-old girl.
When he arrived, Larson was arrested.
This case was investigated by the U.S. Secret Service - Quad Cities Cybercrimes Unit, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, and the case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
