Members of the community came together Sunday for a fundraiser to support the victims of last month’s International Nutrition building collapse.

More than 1,000 people came to Ralston Arena for music and raffles and to remember the two workers killed, 47-year-old David Ball and 53-year-old Keith Everett, and those injured in the January 20th collapse at South 77th and I in Omaha.

“They were loved, you know what I mean, and everybody cared, it was a small-knit community there and to see everyone come together for them two, it is just beautiful,” said former employee Demetrius Williams.

A total of $32,000 was raised for the victims and their families.

Investigators have not yet determined what caused the animal feed plant to collapse.
