Rescue squad call on the 4th of July was a Louisville Rescue call about 4:15pm for a teenage male in a lake at Cedar Creek who was unresponsive but breathing.
Other people were assisting the victim as sheriff’s deputies and rescue personnel responded according to the Cassgram. As the squad was en route, the patient regained responsiveness. A request from the scene was made for rescue personnel to use a backboard in loading the patient into the squad. The patient was taken to Midlands Hospital. The injuries were not coded as life threatening during transport.
Elmwood Rescue was dispatched to the Murdock ball field in the afternoon for a man who suffered a head injury.
