Illegal dumps are unsightly and unfortunately can be found in many areas of the metro.
This one is in the area of 24th and Read Street and seems to be well known to both city crews and those to dump their trash illegally.
Despite the sign warning about penalities and the "Jersey curbs" designed to make dumping a little more difficult people still manage to throw out old tires and other trash.
A public works crew will clean all this out but it is the taxpayer who foots the bill.
