This Labor Day...some may be taking a break by feigning illness.
A survey for Kronos Incorporated shows about half of all Americans have taken a fake sick day.
Most people who did so said they felt stressed or needed a day off.
About a third said they had a child that needed attention.
And many said they would not take a fake sick day if they had flex time, or could work from home.
This compares to China...where 71% of workers say they have taken a fake sick day.
In France, only 16% have claimed to do so.
