The Iowa State University presidential search committee plans to meet Monday to prepare written evaluations of the two finalists for the university's top job.
Most of the meeting will be held in closed session. The evaluations will be forwarded to the Iowa Board of Regents, which will choose Iowa State's next president.
Steven Leath, the vice president of research at the University of North Carolina, and University of Kentucky Provost Kumble Subbaswamy are the finalists for the Iowa State University presidency.
They were interviewed by the search committee last week and
participated in public forums this week.
Current Iowa State President Gregory Geoffrey has announced he
will retire next year.
