Midtown Crossing is offering an alternate site for watching the Huskers play Ohio State this Saturday.
“Pigskin in the Park” is billed as Omaha’s ultimate Husker Tailgate Party and is being held in Turner Park at the Midtown Crossing. The game starts at 7 p.m., but the park opens at 5 p.m.
The evening will feature a special recognition of Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Rodgers. Prizes and giveaways are also scheduled, but the big draw is the giant 26-foot high definition viewing screen.
Blankets and coolers are welcome and visitors are encouraged to enjoy the food and beverages from the surrounding restaurants.
