The Food and Drug Administration is asking for information on animals who became ill or died after eating several different brands of jerky treats.
Nearly 600 animals died, most of them dogs.
The recalled jerky treats include "Waggin Train," "Canyon Creek Ranch," "Milo's Kitchen Chicken Jerky," and "Chicken Grillers."
Scientists initially thought an anti-biotic residue in the treats was the problem, but they don't believe that's the case any longer.
