Hundreds participated in the Walk to Cure Arthritis Saturday morning in Omaha.
A quick rain shower didn’t stop the more than 350 people from walking around Stinson Park in Aksarben Village.
Many people were there to show their support for those dealing with arthritis on a day to day basis. Also, they were there to raise money to try and find a cure.
Organizer Sarah Jensen said, “So when a mom is picking up her child up out of a car seat she’s not in pain and children can play their every day activities without pain and aches and taking so many medications."
Arthritis impacts more than 50 million adults and 300,000 children in the United States.
