House Shot At, Two Arrested

Two suspects were arrested following gunfire and a pursuit in Omaha Thursday morning.

Police called to North 39th Street and Vernon Avenue just after 2 a.m. were told someone inside a white car had fired at a house. An officer spotted the vehicle a short time later at 24th and Titus. It sped off with the officer in pursuit.

The chase ended a few blocks away at Florence Boulevard and Newport Avenue where 20-year-old Bria Nichols and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody. Nichols was cited for reckless driving and the teen was booked for discharging a firearm.
