A home in Clarkson, Nebraska, which is about 45 miles northwest of Fremont, was leveled following an explosion and fire.
A viewer of WOWT's sister station in Lincoln reported that the explosion happened in a home near the parochial school between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Monday.
The viewer, Joe Vrbricky, said he felt the windows of his home shake. When he went to investigate, he saw crews remove a man from the house which was on fire. A short time later, the house became fully engulfed.
The Clarkson Fire Department refused to comment.
